Established in the year 1971, Radhamadhab College, Silchar has completed 50 Golden years of its establishment. On behalf of the College fraternity I take this opportunity to express my gratitude and thanks to all the stakeholders who have made this possible and were with us in those last fifty years of our glorious journey. I also congratulate the students who have chosen this institution for pursuing their higher Education. I am sure that every student will develop themselves academically, mentally, physically and spiritually in our healthy academic atmosphere and in the long run each one of them will turn out to be responsible citizens with great social commitment.

The College offers Arts course at both H.S and Degree level and Commerce course only in the Degree level. Affiliated under Assam University, Silchar, Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) is currently in vogue, which is based on inter-disciplinary approach. Moreover, to keep pace with the changing scenario of Higher Education and to prepare the students to face the changing global world, the College is all set to embrace and adopt the New Education Policy-2020. We live in an era in which the quality of higher education is measured in terms of ranking and accreditation. Right now, we are marching towards the 3rd Cycle of NAAC accreditation with more vigour and dynamism.

I appeal to all the Teaching. Non-Teaching, Library and Office Staff to constantly endeavour to update themselves and disseminate knowledge to the future achievers of the nation. I ask the students to avail themselves of the opportunity and build up their career so that they can contribute to the process of nation building. Undoubtedly, imparting higher education is a noble task - something to which our institution has been committed to for the last 50 years. Every year students pass out with flying colours from this seat of higher learning. We aim at nurturing the mediocre and economically disadvantaged students and thereby achieve our target of all round development of the future citizens of the nation.

Lastly, I take this opportunity to admit the commitment of our diligent faculty and staff who help our students to scale newer heights. Come let us all join hands and earn more laurels for Radhamadhab College.
