On March 24, 2023 at 11 am a guest lecture programme was held in the auditorium hall of the college. Mr. Monoj Deb, former announcer of All India Radio, Silchar and famous reciter artist of the northeast region was the speaker of the programme. The topic of his speech was “Eso Bangla Padi”. i.e how students can pronounce a word and sentence accurately in Bengali language. The programme successfully executed an error free spelling mistakes attempt among the students.

The function was presided over by the Principal of the College Dr. Debashish Roy. The IQAC Assistant Coordinator Dr. Arunabha Bhattacharjee was also present. Dr. Surjyosen Deb, Assistant Professor of Bengali Department moderated the programme. Head of the department Dr. Rahul Chakrabarty delivered introductory speech and Assistant Professor Dr. Kalipada Das gave the vote of thanks.
